Once again, a recipe perfect for warm summer days 🙂 The pineapple makes it just that little more exotic 🙂

What do you need?

  • Noodles
  • Chicken filet
  • Leek
  • 1 red pepper (paprika)
  • Pineapple, chopped. About 200 gr
  • (Wok) oil
  • 2 table spoons soy sauce
  • If you like (personally, I prefer it without): 2 table spoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tea spoon sambal

How do you make it?

Cook the noodles according to the instructions on the packaging. Chop the chicken in cubes, cut the leek in rings, and also chop the pepper, drain the pineapple and collect the juice in a cup (you’ll need it later on). Heat the oil in a wok, cook the chicken about 4 minutes, add the soy sauce and cook it for another 3 minutes. While doing this, make sure you continuously move the chicken so it won’t burn and can soak up the sauce well. Remove the chicken from the wok (but leave the sauce in it), and add the leek and pepper to the sauce and bake it a little. Then add the pineapple cubes, oyster sauce, sambal and three table spoons from the pineapple juice, the noodles, and chicken (I could also simply have said ‘everything’, yes.. haha) and heat it all up while continuously moving itBon appetit.
