How to create a naturally curly hair look

Ok, yes – I have curly hair myself. Nonetheless, and I think all girls with naturally curly hair will agree – sometimes curls made with a curling wand are simply better. With Irresistable Me – which you might know from their famous hair extensions – I made a very natural look: it’s my own hair but better. Perfect for girls without curls who’d like to achieve a very natural look, with no such stiff, ironed curls as you sometimes see on people – and which I personally do not like that much.

I used the bobbly iron from the  Sapphire 8 in 1 Curler to achieve this look. Since I have curls myself, I straightened my hair first. Afterwards, I prepped my straightened hair with L’Oréal Professionnel’s Full Volume Extra mousse. This creates a bit more structure in the smooth hair in order for the curls to last longer. I curled my hair wisp by wisp and finish off with L’Oréal Professionnel’s Fix Anti-Frizz spray for hold and to prevent the curls from becoming frizzy.

The wobbly design of this wand creates a very, very natural look. Like I said before: it looks almost exactly like my natural hair, but then better: less frizzy and beautifully sculptured curls. Yes, I can definitely recommend this wand!

I will be sharing more looks using the Sapphire 8-in-1 Curler in the coming weeks, using the other irons that come with it – so stay tuned!

  1. Heel mooi! Vind het ook altijd leuk krullen maken, maar het kost altijd zo veel tijd..

  2. Gorgeous! Love the hair!
